ROBERT MALYAPA, MD, PHD
Prof. Malyapa is the Director, Proton Therapy Pte Ltd Singapore, the first Proton Therapy Treatment Centre in Singapore. He heads the clinical, education and research programs of the proton centre. He brings with him a vast clinical and teaching experience of more than 15 years in proton therapy, having served as Professor and Lead Physician for tumors of the skull base, spine, head and neck and CNS in proton centres in USA and Europe.
PROF RODNEY HICKS, MD
Professor Hicks currently serves as the Professor of Medicine and Radiology, University of Melbourne and is the Director of the Centre of Cancer Imaging at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He served as the Head of Molecular Imaging and Targeted Therapeutic Laboratory at the Sir Peter MacCallum Department of Oncology Co-chairman Neuroendocrine Service.
PROF DR TONY LOMAX
Professor Lomax is the Head of Physics Research & Technology, Centre for Proton Therapy at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Villigen, Switzerland. He is widely regarded as the pioneer in active pencil beam scanning technology, its development and its clinical implementation with protons.
PROF INDRA J DAS, PHD
Professor Das is an Internationally acclaimed Medical Physicist with expertise on radiation dosimetry, dose calculation, dose specification, small field dosimetry, treatment planning nanoparticles and proton beam therapy. He has served as the chairman of the of Proton Beam therapy working group, which produced the standard of care guidelines for the American College of Radiology (ACR).
PROF SOO KHEE CHEE, MD
Prof Soo Khee Chee was the deputy CEO of Research and Education of SingHealth. He is also the founding director of National Cancer Centre SIngapore (NCCS). Prof Soo is a senior surgical oncologist specialising in head and neck oncology and complex abdominal and soft tissue tumours. He is regarded by many as pioneer and leading cancer surgeon in Singapore and the region.
Mr Sommer is the Founder and Executive Director of the Chordoma Foundation, founded in 2007. Under his leadership, the Foundation has united and expanded the chordoma research community and vastly accelerated the pace of chordoma research. As Executive Director, Josh works with the Foundation’s research partners, advisors, and supporters to design, execute, and fund research initiatives focused on developing new treatments for chordoma.
PROF DR DAMIEN WEBER, MD
Professor Weber is the Chairman and Head Centre for Proton Therapy at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Villigen, Switzerland. He is a leader in pencil beam scanning proton therapy of CNS and skull base tumors in adults and children.

Professor Scott Strome is the Executive Dean of School of Medicine & Vice-Chancellor for Health Affairs at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, USA.A distinguished Head & Neck surgeon and educator, a visionary in the field of immunotherapy for head and neck cancers.
PROF TORUNN YOCK, MD
Professor Yock is the Director of Pediatric Radiation Oncology, Harvard University at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA, USA. She is of the foremost experts on proton therapy in the treatment of children and their outcomes.
PROF JIADE JAY LU, MD, MBA
Professor Lu is the EVP of the Shanghai Proton and Heavy Ion Center and Professor of Clinical Oncology Fudan University, School of Medicine.
PROF HARALD PAGANETTI, PHD
Professor Paganetti is the Director of Physics Research, Harvard University Department of Radiation Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA, USA. He is one of the world’s foremost expert on RBE and LET of protons and its relevance in the clinic.
DR KWEK BOON HAN
Dr Kwek is a radiologist with subspecialty interest in body imaging. He established the AsiaMedic Heart and Vascular Center, Asia HealthPartners Imaging Centre at as well as the Advanced Medicine, Imaging Center over a period of 12 years. Dr Kwek is a member of Royal Philips Global Advisory Board for the IntelliSpace Portal. His current interest is in integrating advanced imaging tools (CT, MRT and PET-CT) with cancer treatment using proton and Immunotherapy.
DR MATTHEW LOWE
Dr Lowe is the Principal Clinical Scientist at the Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester, UK. He is involved in the commissioning, development and service delivery of the NHS’s first high-energy proton therapy centre covering all medical physics aspects of clinical proton therapy.
PROF RICKY SHARMA
Prof Ricky Sharma is Professor and Chair of Radiation Oncology at University College London and a Scientific Group Leader at the UCL Cancer Institute. He is also an Honorary Consultant in Clinical Oncology at University College London Hospitals and the Royal Free Hospital, where he has a clinical practice in radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Prior to his current post, he was Associate Professor, Honorary Consultant and Group Leader at the University of Oxford.
